Eff you, Bose!
I just submitted my third repair request on my Bose Inner Ear Headphones. I’ve gone through three pairs since December 2007, and I’m about to be on my fourth. I can’t live without them, but they’re also totally defective pieces of shit.
The right channel keeps dying, which is great if you’d like to listen to how they mixed the background vocals … in your left ear only.
Now I’m stuck using tese shitty-sounding, ear-hurting earbuds until I receive my new ones.
I should see how many free pairs they’ll give me. As long as they keep breaking once a year, I’m still in warranty!
Apparently they also came out with a “mobile” version, which basically allows you to use them like the Apple earbuds that come with the iPhone.
Ugh. I need to investigate and see what the Germans* have to offer instead.
*Sennheiser and Shure.
At least I think the latter is also German. I’m not sure. Ha! Puns!
