Ten (!) years ago, MTV aired a show called “Fanatic” where they selected uber-fans of various bands and actors and had those who proved themselves worthy meet their obsessions. Given that they had done not one, but two episodes for Backstreet Boys, I produced a Scorsese-opus of a submission.
It didn’t work. I am still pissed to this day.
