You are pathetic.
I know Amerie isn’t Beyoncé, but the girl’s been a solid R&B sell for your label since you signed her.
Her album comes out tomorrow in the US. (I think.) You released it to the UK markets in May, so it’s been leaked online, in full, since then. Having such a long lull between then and now is obviously not helping her sales potential any.
She has NO single on Urban radio nor Top 40. Her website has not been updated in MONTHS. How is anyone supposed to know if you haven’t promoted her in the slightest?
If Because I Love It is released tomorrow (details are sketchy at best) and it flops, it’s your own damn fault.
You better hope she gets some front page iTunes placement to pick up some of your slack.
Artists should not be punished for taking creative control. I miss Rich Harrison just as much as the next guy.
